DSC Enhances Training and Development Programs
Dealer Services Corporation (DSC), the leading independent floorplan finance company for the used vehicle industry, announces the appointment of Angela Fox as Training and Development Specialist. Fox joined DSC on May 3, and will be responsible for establishing and building DSC University, a company implemented learning management system designed to expand employees’ personal and professional growth.
Fox brings an extensive training and development background to DSC, which includes a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development. She has worked with such programs as Global Modeling, Optimizing People Performance and DISC and Values.
“Angela’s enthusiasm for training and development is infectious, and we are very excited about what she is creating at DSC and how it will benefit everyone,” stated Peggy Boyd, Human Resource Manager.
This training will allow DSC to improve operational efficiencies, automate workflow processes and better integrate business needs. “With the University, DSC continues to invest in our greatest asset, our employees. Using an efficient and effective delivery system, DSC University will help employees grow in their job functions while also allowing them to enrich their personal development,” continued Boyd.

DSC University will be powered by Taleo’s Learn.com, the world-wide leader in on-demand workforce development and will offer hundreds of standard and customized programs to DSC’s 400 employees. Training will be completed within company defined time periods, and courses will be broken down and developed into modules of learning such as, Instructor Led Training, Webinars, and self taught web based Training. “Our goal is to clearly define the career/job paths for each position at DSC and to make available a robust amount of coursework from several disciplines such as accounting, collections, management, marketing and of course customer service. In addition, our team is hard at work converting all the company’s proprietary training materials into the new format to more effectively train the deeper specializations of DSC inventory financing,” CEO Brian Geitner explained.
